New Orleans - Jazz, Great Food, Swamps, Mint Juleps, and Nutria Rats!

This is Chris standing in front of the Natchez, the only genuine steamboat left in New Orleans. They have lunch tours there among other things, but we had other things we wanted to do that day. Maybe next time. It was entertaining just standing near it and hearing the guy play the steam pipes on the top of the boat like it was a pipe organ. It would have felt completely "southern" if it hadn't been so unusually cold. Most days were around 40, about 15-20 degrees colder than average for December in New Orleans.
